Airport leaders say a brand new lot at the Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) is prepared and waiting for chauffeurs from all around the location.
Officials instructed Action News the re-purposed area offers a convenient area for drivers ready on passengers till their flight is available in.
Airport director Buck Taft says the cellphone sector is somewhere folks can park without spending a dime without traumatic approximate police or a price tag-system.
Taft says requests for a cellular phone zone were steady, 2nd best to fliers asking for the direct provider to Los Angeles.
“‘Hey, will we have a cellular telephone lot’, ‘Why don’t we’ve got a mobile phone lot’, ‘Can we get a cellular phone lot?’,” he laughed. “Because they recognize we cannot park on the cut-down, and that they have been like, ‘If you guys only had a cellular telephone lot’ but we just did not have one.”
They did, however, have an abundance of unused parking spots behind the worker parking vicinity.
“We had this good deal sitting right here for about a year so we simply took a bit out and said, ‘This will work for now’,” he said.
Taft says there isn’t a whole lot to the new space, the rules are posted nearby.
“60-minute limit, don’t go away your automobile unattended, the ones are the massive ones,” he said. “If you sit here together with your vehicle, expecting a person to name you, you may move to pick them up on the scale down and be to your way.””
PSC’s new cellular telephone lot is southeast of the main terminal, behind employee parking and simply south of the manipulate tower.
