San Francisco: California-founded international cybersecurity company Symantec has released an automated approach to assist companies to block fraudulent emails from accomplishing organizations.
Called, “Email Fraud Protection”, the answer is now available as part of Symantec’s Email Security Solution and Integrated Cyber Defence Platform, the company said in a statement on Friday.
The answer aims to lessen the workload for IT departments and remove the need to manually manipulate email safety configurations even as combatting Business Email Compromise (BEC) attacks.
“Our purpose is to present corporations and IT departments time and money back that can be spent somewhere else in the organization,” stated Patrick Gardner, Senior Vice President, Email Security, Symantec.
“Email Fraud Protection is a first-rate addition to Symantec Email Security, making sure organizations are equipped with an automatic and complete email safety solution,” Gardner introduced.
The answer removes the want for administrators to manually set and maintain e-mail sender parameters. With this answer, email authentication requirements are met via automatic monitoring of authorized 1/3-party senders, the corporation said.
