Reliance Jio sends ‘lacking you’ message to Airtel, Vodafone

Taking a dig at rivals like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, and others on Valentine’s Day, telecom operator Reliance Jio has published a ‘poem’ on the microblogging website Twitter asking the whereabouts of its ‘neighbors.’ Mockingly expressing their absence, the organization wrote, ‘Roses are red, Violets are blue, Once a neighbor in SIM slot 2,

Reliance Jio entered the Indian telecom zone in December 2015. The Jio SIM became made available for purchase in September 2016. The SIM initially worked in 4G enabled SIM slots, only that’s commonly the SIM slot 1 in most mobiles. So, while the Jio SIM took SIM slot 1, the other operator’s SIM had been ultimately driven to SIM slot 2. This is what the business enterprise’s modern pun on Twitter mocks.

Since its advent, the Mukesh Ambani-led business enterprise has disrupted the telecom area with competitive pricing and blessings like free records, unlimited calling, and greater. It is noteworthy to the kingdom here that this isn’t the first time Jio has mocked its competitors on Valentine’s Day.

In 2017, Jio ‘paradoxically’ needed Vodafone, Idea Cellular, and Airtel on Twitter. The tweet got here after the business enterprise registered a criticism with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) against its competition for not giving enough interaction factors. While Airtel and Vodafone-Idea haven’t responded, social media reacted differently to the cutting-edge tweet. Some Jio users, on the other hand, praised Reliance Jio for the service; others considered it a possibility to vent their frustration.

In other information, after obtaining over two hundred million subscribers, Reliance Jio is now eyeing the merchant network by getting into the factor-of-sale (PoS) section. Merchants and retail provision stores must ‘deposit’ Rs 3,000 to get Reliance’s PoS tool.
