No to plastic: Samsung will use eco-friendly cloth for packaging

SEOUL [SOUTH KOREA]: Samsung’s electronics division updated its packaging policy to pay a bit more heed to the surroundings. The business enterprise announced that it would exchange the product packaging for its telephones, capsules, and wearables. As Mashable reports, rather than plastic, Samsung will use pulp mods as holder trays. For the add-ons, eco-friendly materials can be used for wrapping.

The telephone chargers may also be modified from a sleek finish to a matte look requiring a plastic safety movie. Not only the devices, patron appliances which include TVs, fridges, washing machines, and different kitchen merchandise, may even skip the standard plastic luggage to come in recycled plastic and bioplastic baggage. These changes are predicted to begin using the second half of 2019, while paper sourcing will take location by 2020.
